Data Deletion Instructions

You can request deletion of your ShortLynx account and all associated data — links, campaigns, click analytics, and any connected social-account tokens — at any time.

How to request deletion

Email hello@shortlynx.dev from the email address on your ShortLynx account with the subject line "Delete my ShortLynx data". We will confirm your identity, then permanently delete:

• Your account and login credentials.
• Every link, campaign, and short code you created, and their click history.
• Any connected social-account tokens (Bluesky, Mastodon, and any platform added later).

We process deletion requests within 30 days and will confirm by email once complete.

Disconnecting a social account only

If you only want to revoke ShortLynx's access to a connected social account (Bluesky, Mastodon, or any platform we support), you don't need to delete your whole ShortLynx account — sign in and remove the connection from the Social page in your dashboard. This immediately and permanently deletes the stored access tokens for that connection.

You can also revoke access directly from the platform's own settings (e.g. Bluesky's Settings → App Passwords, or Mastodon's Settings → Authorized apps), which takes effect immediately regardless of what's stored on our side.
